Summer holidays in Zillertal – where mountain days give you wings

Around 1,400 kilometres of hiking trails and 72 three-thousand-metre peaks mean that you will never run out of places to explore in Zillertal. From leisurely alpine paths to panoramic summit tours, every day around Hintertux brings another opportunity to experience the mountains.

But for us, the most memorable tours are often the ones we experience together. That is why we join our guests in the mountains ourselves or head out with local guides who know their home, its stories and many of its special places. Sometimes we set off early to watch the sunrise, sometimes we head for a summit together, and on other days a leisurely hike followed by a stop at an alpine hut is exactly what feels right.

And something happens along the way that we particularly love at the Adler Inn: we may set off as hosts and guests – and sometimes return as friends. And if you prefer exploring on your own, we are always happy to help you choose the right tour. Because no matter how often you visit us, you will never run out of ideas, trails and mountain experiences in Zillertal.
 

Some holiday moments cannot be planned – but we have a pretty good idea where to find them. Herb walks with Anni, a mountain breakfast at sunrise or our “Hike from Nine to Wine” are experiences we share with our guests.

Together with the Stock family and local guides, you’ll discover places, stories and trails you might never have found on your own. We hike, laugh, taste local flavours and sometimes simply stop to take it all in.

And along the way, something wonderful happens: guests become companions – and quite often, friends.

Sometimes, it doesn’t take much: two wheels, a great trail and people to share it with. Together with our guides, we head out to discover special places throughout Zillertal – sometimes sporty on a mountain bike, sometimes more relaxed with a little e-power.

And that is exactly what we love about it: not everyone has to ride at the same pace or have the same level of fitness. What matters in the end is not who reaches the top first, but what we experience together along the way.
